Frequently Asked Questions

Who can take the courses?

Anyone who wants to grow in their life as a disciple of Jesus – you don’t have to have studied theology before. There is something for everyone: whether you are a new Christian or have been one for many years.

Do I have to belong to St Thomas Crookes?

No. Over the last few years about 50% of School of Theology participants have been from churches other than St Thomas Crookes.

When does it happen?

School of Theology meets on Saturday mornings. We begin with time in worship and then break into separate tracks for the morning, coming together for a mid morning break of coffee and pastries.

Where does it happen?

The teaching takes place at St Thomas Crookes Church, Nairn Street, Crookes, Sheffield, S10 1UL. There is plenty of on-street parking available nearby and the 52 bus route stops right outside the church.

How much does it cost?

The price for the whole year is £60 (£30 for concessions) or £12 (£6 for concessions) for an individual session. We would strongly recommend that you sign up for the whole year to get the most out of School of Theology. Turn up and pay on the day.
